Fit & Fresh

I had a nice fit & fresh salad for lunch today.

Spring mix greens, broccoli slaw, tomatoes and a little bit of leftover chicken tossed together in homemade Italian dressing with Kashi crackers. Today's lunch was much more satisfying than yesterday's big lunch. I feel so much better eating fresh, light food. I hate feeling weighed down after I eat.

Can I just say how much I LOVE my fit and fresh salad shaker container that I got from Target. It has a separate container for the dressing on the lid. You just turn the dial and the dressing pours out onto the salad. This has made life SO much easier for me. I hate soggy lettuce so I before I had this, I had to find little containers to put my dressing in. Also, the ice pack means I don't need to refrigerate it. Very cool stuff. I kind of...Okay I really want some of their other containers!

Work Out

I am running with the group tonight at 5:30, but I want to try and get some strength training done beforehand. I've been lacking on strength work lately and I really need to start consistently doing it. I have no upper body strength. I like going to strength classes because they are fun and creative. When I do weights by myself I don't feel as if I'm getting as good of a workout. The classes don't really work with my current schedule though. They offer early morning classes on Wed & Fridays so I might try them out next week. But for today, I'm on my own!

Friday Night Plans

Tonight I think I am going to a movie with my friends to see What Happens in Vegas. Hopefully we make it to the 8 o'clock showing otherwise I may not make it through the 10 o'clock one. I'll try to post before the movie, but chances are it will be after.
